Hudson Heights and Washington Heights storefront studio at 813 West 187th Street offering after school music, visual art, design, and drama lessons for children, teens, and adults. Co founded in 2019 by Gigi and Michael Gilsinan, SUPtown provides private and group instruction across piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, flute, saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, voice, and koto, along with a Young Developer and Architect program, preschool art classes, and drawing and painting classes for kids and teens. The program also runs guitar orchestra, string and wind ensembles, choirs, and music theory. The space has become a neighborhood arts anchor for upper Manhattan families.
