Terms of Service
Last updated: June 17, 2026
TinyList is a curated directory that helps parents find kids activities and helps businesses get found. These Terms are an agreement between you and TinyList. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use TinyList.
Who can use TinyList
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or submit an inquiry, review, or listing. TinyList is built for parents and caregivers and for the businesses that serve them — it is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly let children create accounts.
Your account
You're responsible for the information you provide and for activity under your account. Keep your password secure and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use. You may close your account at any time by emailing us.
For parents
You can browse, search, and save listings, and send inquiries to businesses. When you submit an inquiry, you're asking us to share your message and contact details with that business so they can respond — see the Privacy Policy. Anything that happens after that — scheduling, payment, attending a class — is directly between you and the business.
For businesses
Appearing in the TinyList directory is free, and it's always free to claim a listing for a business you own or are authorized to represent. Paid tiers only ever buy placement (rising within results) or enhancement (a richer profile) — never the ability to be listed at all.
You agree that listing information is accurate and that you're authorized to represent the business. We verify claims and may decline, unpublish, or remove listings — including for impersonation, inaccuracy, or abuse — at our reasonable discretion. Paid placement is billed as described at checkout or in your arrangement with us; while billing is handled manually, your tier takes effect once we confirm it.
Reviews and content you submit
Reviews, messages, photos, and other content you submit must be your own, truthful, and lawful — no spam, harassment, or content that infringes someone else's rights. Reviews are moderated and may be declined or removed. By submitting content, you grant TinyList a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the directory. You can ask us to remove content you posted by emailing us.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, copy, or resell the directory or its data;
- submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
- impersonate a business or person, or claim a listing you're not authorized to manage;
- interfere with the site's operation or security, or use it to send spam or unlawful content.
Intellectual property
The TinyList name, design, and original content are ours. Listing and business information may belong to the respective businesses or their sources. We grant you a limited, personal license to use the site for its intended purpose; everything not expressly granted is reserved.
Third parties and off-platform dealings
TinyList surfaces businesses but does not run their programs, vouch for them, or take part in your transactions with them. We aren't responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of any activity, class, or service you find through TinyList. Use your own judgment when choosing a provider for your family.
Disclaimers
TinyList is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We work hard to keep listings useful and the site running, but we can't guarantee either.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TinyList and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any interaction or transaction between a parent and a business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using TinyList at any time. We may suspend or close accounts or remove content that violates these Terms or harms other users, businesses, or the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as TinyList grows. If we make substantive changes, we'll update the date above and, for account holders, notify you by email. Continuing to use TinyList after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York.
