Acceptable Content & Messaging Policy

When you message a business (or a parent) through TinyList, please keep the conversation on the platform. On-platform messaging keeps a record, helps us keep everyone safe, and lets us step in if something goes wrong. Don't use TinyList to push someone to pay or communicate off-platform in order to avoid these protections.

To keep TinyList safe, trustworthy, and free of abuse, the messages and other content you send may be monitored, reviewed, or screened — by automated tools and, where needed, by our team — for safety, quality, security, and to detect spam, fraud, or violations of this Policy. We do not sell the contents of your messages, and we access them only as needed to operate and protect the service and as described in our Privacy Policy.

Don't post, send, or share content that:

• harasses, threatens, bullies, or demeans anyone, or promotes hate or violence;
• is unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive — including fake inquiries, scams, or off-platform payment schemes;
• is sexual, exploitative, or otherwise harmful to a child — we have zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes or endangers a minor;
• is spam, mass solicitation, or unwanted commercial messaging;
• impersonates another person or business, or misrepresents who you are;
• shares someone else's private information without their consent;
• infringes anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
• contains malware or attempts to compromise the site or other users.

TinyList serves families, so safety comes first. Accounts are for adults (18+) — parents, caregivers, and the businesses that serve them. Share only what's necessary about a child when you reach out, and never more than you're comfortable with. If you ever feel unsafe, or encounter content or behavior that endangers a child, stop and report it to us right away — and contact local authorities if there is any immediate risk.

If you see something that breaks this Policy, email us at hello@tinylist.co. We review reports and may remove content, issue a warning, limit features, or suspend or close accounts, and we may cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. We aim to be fair and proportionate — but keeping the community safe takes priority.

To keep families safe, messages sent through TinyList may be reviewed — by automated checks and, when needed, by our team — only to prevent scams, harassment, and threats to a child's safety, to comply with the law, and to help with support. We never read your messages for advertising or marketing. Sharing contact details with a business is fine and expected — TinyList doesn't hide them — but attempts to defraud, harass, or endanger anyone may be flagged for review and acted on under "Reporting and enforcement" above.

This Policy is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. How we handle the personal information in your messages and inquiries is described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update this Policy as TinyList grows. If we make substantive changes, we'll update the date above.
