Battery Park City Parks Conservancy runs child-tailored programs throughout Battery Park City's parks and open spaces. Field trips and family programs cover the history, geology, ecology, and environmental considerations affecting the Hudson River. Conservancy staff includes art and environmental educators who lead nature walks, fishing days, and seasonal community events. Programming spans Rockefeller Park, Wagner Park, the Esplanade, and Teardrop Park. Most events are free for residents and visitors. Suitable for kids age 3 through teen.
