Children's Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) is a 5-floor children's museum on the Upper West Side dedicated to early childhood arts and learning. Programs include hands-on art workshops in the Art Studio, daily craft activities, performing arts events, and seasonal exhibits. Suitable for kids age 0-6 (the museum is intentionally designed for younger kids — older kids age out fast). Free for NYC public school kids on certain weekends through partnership programs. Membership pays for itself with frequent visits.
