Crotona Park is a 127-acre park in the central Bronx with a 3.3-acre lake (Indian Lake), playgrounds, hiking trails, and athletic fields. Free family programming includes Urban Park Rangers nature walks, summer Movies Under the Stars, and Concerts at Crotona. The park's Indian Lake is one of the few accessible bodies of fresh water in the Bronx, with seasonal fishing programs for kids. Located in the South Bronx, accessible from the 2/5 train at 174th Street. Park amenities are free; some programmed events have advance registration.
