Cunningham Park's 358 acres include hiking trails through woodlands, athletic fields, playgrounds, and seasonal nature programming led by NYC Urban Park Rangers. Free programs include guided hikes, animal tracking workshops for kids, and birdwatching walks. The park's hiking trails are some of the most accessible woodland trails in central Queens. Multiple playgrounds throughout the park give families low-effort outdoor time when they're not on programmed nature walks. Located at Union Turnpike and 196th Street, accessible by Q46 bus.
