About
Forest Park Trust supports NYC Parks in maintaining Forest Park, the third-largest park in Queens at 538 acres with 165 acres of native hardwood forest. The Trust runs family programming including bird walks, naturalist-led hikes through the trails, forest bathing sessions, and seasonal events. Forest Park's hiking trails are among the most extensive in NYC. The Forest Park Carousel, restored to operating condition, is a separate kids attraction within the park. Located across Glendale, Kew Gardens, Woodhaven, and Richmond Hill — accessible from multiple subway and bus routes.
