Genspace is a community biology lab in Sunset Park offering youth programs in biotechnology, molecular biology, microscopy, and applied science. Programs include after-school workshops, summer camps, and birthday parties at the working lab facility. Kids do real lab work — DNA extraction, microscope analysis, bioluminescence experiments — under credentialed instructor supervision. Suitable for kids age 8 through teen. Strong fit for kids who already love biology and want hands-on laboratory experience rather than purely classroom science. Located at Industry City.
