Hudson River Park Friends runs environmental education, family programming, and hands-on science programs along the 4-mile Hudson River Park. Especially-For-Kids programming includes nature scavenger hunts, family fishing days, and the River Project's Estuarine Sanctuary research station with interactive displays on Hudson River wildlife. Programs run at multiple piers along the park's length from Battery to 59th Street. Most programs are free; some require advance registration. Suitable for kids age 3 through teen.
