Imagination Playground in Prospect Park is a David Rockwell-designed playspace built around child-directed creative play. Loose blue foam parts, water features, and unstructured spaces let kids build, dig, and invent rather than play on traditional fixed equipment. Located inside Prospect Park near the Children's Corner, walking distance from the Lefferts Historic House and Carousel. Free with park access. Open seasonally typically April through October. Best for kids age 2 through 10 — older kids can still enjoy it but the design is aimed at younger.
