Lesko Ballet Academy is led by choreographer Maryna Lesko and operates out of an Olympia Boulevard studio in Dongan Hills. Programs span ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, modern, and other styles for kids and adults. Classes are available as both group sessions and private lessons. Suitable for children starting around age 3 through teens. The studio runs year-round, with summer intensives and recital programs. Smaller studio than the bigger Staten Island ballet schools, which means more individual attention per student. Located on the east shore of the island, accessible from Grasmere, South Beach, and Midland Beach. A good option for families that want focused training without the commercial-school feel.
