Lower Eastside Girls Club

Lower East Side community center for girls and gender expansive youth ages eight through eighteen at the Center for Community on East 8th Street. Programs span STEM workshops, coding, robotics, financial literacy, arts and creative writing, college prep, leadership development, and a planetarium. The Girls Club runs an after school program, summer programs, weekend workshops, and parent and child sessions, all at no cost to families. The Center for Community is a state of the art facility with classrooms, a film studio, a music studio, and a wellness suite, making it one of the most resource-rich youth programs serving downtown families.
