Prospect Park Audubon Center
About
The Audubon Center at Prospect Park's historic Boathouse runs free family programming year-round — Animal Encounters with park wildlife, naturalist-led nature walks, birdwatching for kids, and seasonal exhibits on park ecology. Located at the Boathouse near the Lincoln Road entrance to Prospect Park, accessible from the B/Q at Prospect Park station. Suitable for kids age 3 through teen. Most programs are free with park admission. The first urban Audubon Center in the country and a strong introduction to nature for Brooklyn families that don't have backyard access.
