Riverside Park Conservancy
About
Riverside Park Conservancy partners with NYC Parks to maintain Riverside Park, Riverside Park South, Sakura Park, West Harlem Piers Park, and the shoreline portion of Fort Washington Park. The Conservancy runs family programming including bird walks, gardening days, riverfront cleanups for kids, and seasonal events along the 6-mile park. Grassroots Volunteer Program welcomes kids and families for hands-on stewardship work. Most programs are free. Suitable for kids age 4 and up, with some tot-friendly nature walks for younger children.
