Staten Island Robotics Foundation runs FIRST robotics teams plus afterschool robotics workshops for Staten Island kids in grades 4-12. Teams compete in FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge regional tournaments. Programs include weekly meetings, mentor pairings, and competition travel. Suitable for kids age 9 through teen. Strong fit for kids interested in collaborative team-based STEM. Sliding-scale fees through the foundation's non-profit access mission. Multiple SI school sites.
