About
Snug Harbor Cultural Center spans 83 acres on Staten Island's north shore with 14 botanical gardens, a 2-acre Heritage Farm, wetlands, and historic Greek Revival buildings. Family programming includes free weekend events, gardening workshops, the Butterfly Habitat, the Tuscan Garden, and Children's Maze. Snug Harbor also hosts the Staten Island Children's Museum, Staten Island Museum, and Staten Island Conservatory of Music as separate institutions on campus. Most Snug Harbor outdoor programming is free; the Children's Museum and other tenants have separate admission. Located on Richmond Terrace, accessible from St. George Ferry plus S40 bus.
