Staten Island Children's Museum
About
Staten Island Children's Museum has been operating at Snug Harbor since 1974, with hands-on exhibits and programming focused on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) for younger kids. Beyond the exhibit hall, the museum runs after-school programs, school-break workshops, and summer camps. Programming includes science and story times, art and cooking activities, and structured workshops where kids leave with something they made. Located at Snug Harbor Cultural Center on Richmond Terrace, accessible from the Staten Island Ferry plus S40 bus. Membership pays for itself with frequent visits.
