Stuyvesant Cove Park is a small native plant park along the East River with a free environmental education center (Solar 2). Programs include free nature walks, Hudson River-equivalent estuary investigations, weekly Citizens Committee programs, and seasonal events. Suitable for kids age 4 through teen. Strong fit for East Side families wanting accessible nature programming in a smaller park than the larger Manhattan options. Located between 18th and 23rd Streets along the East River.
