About
The Battery Conservancy runs free educational programming at The Battery park at Manhattan's southern tip. Programs include the SeaGlass Carousel rides, the new Battery Playscape (an innovative nature-themed play space), and Battery Urban Farm — a 1-acre working farm with school field trips, family farm days, and seasonal harvest events. Suitable for kids age 2 through pre-teen, with separate programming tracks for school groups and family visitors. Located at Battery Park, accessible from the 1/4/5/R/W trains and Staten Island Ferry terminal.
