The High Line
About
The High Line is a 1.45-mile elevated linear park on Manhattan's west side, running from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to 34th Street near Hudson Yards. Free family programming includes kids storytelling walks, gardener-led nature tours of the park's native plants, dance and movement classes, and seasonal events like the Wildflower Walk in spring. Tots can use the Pershing Square Beams play space. Most programming is free. Suitable for kids age 3 through teen. Multiple entry points along the park let families pick the most convenient access.
