Tinkergarten Brooklyn

Tinkergarten runs play-based outdoor classes in Brooklyn parks for kids ages 1-8. Brooklyn classes happen in Prospect Park, McCarren Park, McGolrick Park, and other neighborhood parks, led by trained local leaders who facilitate guided outdoor play. Classes emphasize creativity, empathy, and problem-solving rather than structured curriculum. Sessions are 1-hour weekly meetups, with parents/caregivers expected to participate. Outdoor regardless of weather (within reason). Sessions typically run in 8-week cycles during spring and fall. Same national curriculum as the Manhattan and Queens classes.
