Wild Roots Explorers runs year-round, all-weather outdoor classes in Staten Island for kids ages 1-7. Programs emphasize child-led play in natural settings with mud kitchens, obstacle courses, water play, sensory tables, and discovery zones. Two locations on the island — North Shore (behind Church of the Ascension on Kingsley Avenue) and South (at the Mount Loretto Catholic Charities campus). Includes a homeschool collective option for families that want consistent outdoor learning year-round. All-weather participation required. Spanish, yoga, and music are also part of the curriculum mix.
