Beam Center runs project-based STEM programs for Brooklyn youth combining engineering, design, and creative making. Programs include after-school workshops, summer intensives, and the Beam Camp residential summer program. Kids work on real projects — building solar-powered devices, designing kinetic sculptures, programming interactive installations. Suitable for kids age 8 through teen. Strong fit for kids who want to apply STEM skills to creative real-world projects rather than abstract coursework. Located in DUMBO.
