Upper East Side three-thousand-square-foot bi-level STEAM makerspace at 1642 York Avenue featuring five classrooms named after female STEM icons, an interactive sixteen-foot LED wall, and a retail area. MakeInspires offers more than twenty after-school programs and courses spanning filmmaking, coding, 3D printing, woodworking, robotics, and digital arts for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade with strong focus on elementary and middle school. The makerspace also hosts birthday parties for ages five through fourteen with hands-on creative experiences. This is MakeInspires' first NYC location.
