The Institute of Play runs game design and educational technology programs for NYC kids. Programs include after-school workshops, summer intensives, and school partnerships covering Minecraft, Unity, Unreal Engine, and tabletop game design. Suitable for kids age 8 through teen. Strong fit for kids who already love games and want to learn the craft of designing them rather than just playing them.
